  month we focus on bringing you a listening experience from around the wor
 ld while focusing on the origins of dance music through disco. All music i
 s presented on vinyl through the beautifully conceived sound system at Est
 ereo. If you have not been to this first Monday experience I highly sugges
 t you join us for a unique listening opportunity. Resident DJ Jesse Sandwi
 ch joined by some of Chicago's finest disco purveyors. "Brian Borden (Soun
 d On Sound) is a more than familiar name in the DJ community\, in Chicago.
  He holds an extensive knowledge of music\, both past and present. His raw
  skills\, and tactile motions make it worth the attendance. You can expect
  a variation of genres included in any given set\, but he is a true fan of
  House Music\, and this is definitely included within his repertoire. Hand
 s on experience began in 1983\, for this Veteran\, and his first club oppo
 rtunity was with the legendary\, Medusa’s. (Circa 1991) Brian’s specia
 lties are House Music\, and Disco. Hard or soft\, his music speaks to pain
 t a picture. Often\, adding Italo-Disco\, New-Wave\, Jazz\, Afro\, Blues\,
  and just about anything else left-field\, if possible. This technique is 
 best described as “seasoning”. Music selections are carefully made for
  each DJ set\, and calculated by setting\, and space. Brian is a DJ who ca
 n play for a driving crowd\, or one that is a little more intimate and coz
