Second Annual Chicago Poetry Block Party

Poetry Foundation, Crescendo Literary, and the National Museum of Mexican Art present the second annual Chicago Poetry Block Party! This festival of poetry, music, art, and community on 19th Street and Wolcott Avenue in Pilsen welcomes guests of all ages. There will be writing workshops, visual art activities, games, and a dance party, plus poetic and musical performances in the main stage. Performers include Eve Ewing, Nate Marshall, The Happiness Club, Chicago Mariachi Project, Jarochicanos, You Are Here, KAINA, and Akenya. Hosted by Jasmine Alexandria Barber. All activities free and open to the public.
