RHB Banking Group has opened registration for the RHB Langkawi Ride 2020, to local and international cyclists. Continuing on the success of its maiden ride in Langkawi in April this year, this coming event will take place on 11 April 2020. It is part of their continuous efforts to promote cycling as a healthy lifestyle activity over the years has created a strong following of cycling enthusiasts from Malaysia and around the world.

The annual RHB Langkawi Ride will once again offer both amateur and professional cycling enthusiasts an exciting and scenic riding experience around the beautiful island of Langkawi. Riders will be able to experience the thrill of navigating Langkawi’s legendary heritage sites, flat open vistas, challenging gradients and fast track descents as Langkawi opens its doors again to the RHB Langkawi Ride. The ride will offer amateur and professional cycling enthusiasts an exciting and scenic riding experience around the beautiful island of Langkawi. Carefully selected routes will provide cyclists a challenging yet fun-filled ride across undulating and scenic terrain. The island presents cyclists with various road gradients and wind resistance, as well as the gravitational pull down some steep slopes for a wholesome and enjoyable ride.

RHB Langkawi Ride 2020 is expected to see the participation of more than 1,200 local and international cyclists. Cyclists will get to choose to take part in the 100km Eagle Ride, 75km Heritage Ride, or the 25km Adventure Ride designed for beginners. This year as part of RHB’s Health and Wellness Ecosystem, RHB has also partnered with more than 20 merchants to offer participants and customers alike with promotional deals at cycling and healthy living-related stores. Those holding RHB credit and debit cards will now be able to enjoy discounts of up to 20% at selected outlets nationwide.

Participants can log on to www.rhblangkawiride2020.com and register online. Registration closes on 29 February 2020 or upon reaching the participation limit of 1200 cyclists (whichever comes first). Participation is also encouraged for corporates at a nominal fee of RM1,000 per team of five.
