DESCRIPTION:Divine Light Yoga is honoured&nbsp\;to partner with the Thai C
 hildren&rsquo\;s Development Foundation for our Yoga Alliance Registered C
 hildren&rsquo\;s Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand. The foundation support
 s the healthcare\, education and welfare of disadvantaged children in Sout
 hern Thailand. 30% of all proceeds from the Divine Light Yoga Teacher Trai
 ning will go directly to the foundation\; not only will you be growing and
  developing your skills and experience of children&rsquo\;s yoga but you w
 ill also be actively contributing to the health\, education and welfare of
  underprivileged children within Thailand.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur Children&rsqu
 o\;s Yoga Teacher Training provides all the tools\, techniques and inspira
 tion that teachers will need to develop their own individual\, creative le
 ssons to share with children of all ages and abilities. We are focused on 
 providing a holistic environment for children\, combining elements of musi
 cal mantras\, interactive story-telling\, art\, nature\, movement and danc
 e\, group discussions and play to explore the principles and practices of 
 yoga and mindfulness.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur approach incorporates elements of 
 the educational philosophies of Reggio Emilia&rsquo\;s Hundred Languages o
 f Children and Howard Gardner&rsquo\;s Multiple Intelligences because we u
 nderstand\, value and support each child&rsquo\;s individual learning styl
 e. Furthermore\, our approach regards the environment as a key component o
 f the education process\, therefore\, we place emphasis on providing a saf
 e\, nurturing\, holistic environment in which we give children time and sp
 ace to explore yoga and mindfulness.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe have a maximum of 12 students on each of our 
 trainings to enable full support and attention for each individual.\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThrough interactive\, experiential activitie
 s and practice teaching time\, we will explore:\n\n* Techniques and activi
 ties to introduce asana\, breath-work and meditation to children aged 3-18
  years old\n* Partner and group yoga fun for all ages\n* Combining Educati
 onal Philosophy and teaching methodology with Yoga\n* Introducing yoga phi
 losophy and practices to children of all ages\, including the Chakra Syste
 m\, Yama and Niyama\n* Meditation &amp\; Visualisation techniques for each
  age group\n* Creative Mindfulness activities and techniques\n* Therapeuit
 c yoga techniques for children with Special Needs\n*Understanding Autism\,
  ADHD\, Sensory Disorders\, communication difficulties and social-emotiona
 l difficulties and how to effectively use yoga for each of these SEN.\n* I
 ncorporating art\, music\, dance and nature into children&rsquo\;s yoga\n*
  Hindu Mythology for Tweens &amp\; Teens\n* Interactive story-telling and 
 yoga journeys for all age groups\n* Yoga for children with English as an a
 dditional language\n* Behaviour managment in the yoga class\n* Positive &a
 mp\; Empathetic language skills\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur typical&nbsp\;d

 nyone with an interest in sharing yoga with children and teens within an e
 ducational\, social\, healthcare or home environment. We require students 
 of the Divine Light Yoga Teacher Training to have a minimum of 18 months e
 xperience working with children or a qualification in education or health 
 care.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat is included?\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n

  and inspiration from the surrounding environment. The rooftop restaurant 
 offers stunning views across the rainforest as well as delicious\, nutriti
 ous vegetarian meals (not to mention to yummy vegan desserts).\n\n&nbsp\;\
 n\nThe classes will be held in the river-side yoga sala and on the outdoor
  meditation space.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAll profits from the resort are contribut
 ed to the Thai Child Development Foundation\, a children&#39\;s charity th
 at supports education and healthcare for&nbsp\;disadvantaged families in T
 hailand. During your time at the resort\, you will have the opportunity to
  witness first-hand the special needs school\, creative learning centre an
 d on-going community projects that the resort supports.\n
